Can my window be repaired, or does it need replacing?
Most windows can be repaired. Worn hinges, slipping handles, faulty locks, perished seals and misted glass units can all be replaced on their own, leaving the frame where it is. A new window only makes sense when the frame itself has failed, and you will be told plainly if that is the case.
Why is my double glazing misty between the panes?
The seal round the sealed unit has failed, so damp air has got into the gap between the two panes. It cannot be wiped away from either side. The answer is a new sealed unit made to size and fitted into your existing frame.
